Not only does Nissan’s luxury have two new offerings, the Infiniti M sedan and the QX56 SUV, but Infiniti also plans on launching at least two additional models by 2011.
One of these upcoming models is going to be an all-electric car based on the upcoming Nissan Leaf. The other is expected to be based on the Nissan Juke crossover, which will be powered by a direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder engine that may be carried over to the Infiniti model, according to Nissan Dealer Hartford.
Regardless of the what Nissan-brand vehicles these new Infinitis will be based on, expect them to possess the “inspired performance” qualities associated with the brand. In addition to new models, Infiniti is rumored to be diving into performance vehicles even further as it was reported last week that the automaker trademarked the names “IPL” and “Infiniti Performance Line.”
According to Infiniti Worcester, Infiniti has already confirmed the Infiniti M35 Hybrid which will make its debut in early 2011. Expect the two aforementioned vehicles to debut before then.
