Infiniti earned two prestigious honors in the 12th annual ALG Residual Value Awards. First, Nissan’s luxury division was named the overall “2011 Best Luxury Brand.” Additionally, Infiniti took the prize for the “Best Luxury Fullsize Utility” thanks to the all-new 2011 Infiniti QX56.

“It‘s an honor to be recognized as having the highest projected resale value of any luxury brand in America,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore. “The Way of Infiniti is all about providing the best experience for our customers, from the day they first walk into an Infiniti showroom throughout the entire ownership experience. This recognition from ALG is another assurance to our clients that they can purchase an Infiniti with confidence.”

The annual ALG Residual Value Awards recognize the brands and vehicles in each industry segment that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of MSRP after a conventional three-year period. The awards are ultimately a testament to the brand’s commitment to quality.

“Infiniti has refreshed its lineup with great new designs and a host of new technology that is resonating with consumers,” said Raj Sundaram, SVP, Solutions Group and ALG. “As a result the brand has a higher profile and transaction prices have gone up, both major factors in its finish at the top of the luxury market this year.”

Award winners are chosen after careful study of the competition in each segment. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing and marketing strategies are among the key factors that affect ALG’s residual value forecasts. Infiniti’s wins in two of the 19 vehicle categories also shows that the automaker’s updated lineup is truly hitting the mark.
