The all-new Nissan Patrol SUV will make its world debut February 14th at a special event in the United Arab Emirates. Although the Nissan Patrol badge will not be available here in the US, the 2011 Infiniti QX will be based on the same platform, and may share components with the next generation Nissan Armada as well.
Photos have been leaked in recent months showing both the Nissan Patrol and the Infiniti QX in a sort of internal presentation. These photos have shown both SUVs clearly, without camouflage. The latest Infiniti QX photos and those of the new Patrol show that both models are remarkably similar in terms of styling.
According to Infiniti Dealer Arlington, Infiniti’s large and luxurious next-generation QX is expected to debut later this year, or perhaps in early 2011. No official information is available just yet, but potential buyers could expect a powerful V8 option, perhaps the same updated 5.6-liter unit powering the all-new 2011 Infiniti M56.
